Beauty bargains from late December through the first half of April. I would estimate that the grand total out of pocket was no more than $110.
Notable deals:
Joico gift set marked down to $10 during Ulta’s January clearance and grouped with a $3.50 off of $10 store coupon = $6.50!
Fekkai Glossing Cream (full size!) $3/ea on clearance at a Schnuck’s grocery store
Biosilk products $2/ea on clearance @ Schnuck’s
got2b products $0.99/ea with coupons + sale @ CVS
Everything was either on sale or clearance and grouped with coupons.

Sign up to Hulu Plus and get 2 weeks FREE

How I watch TV has changed drastically in the past month. First of all, I got a Roku LT (FREE - purchased with a $50 gift card that I redeemed from My Coke Rewards) and signed up for a free 1 month trial of Hulu Plus from an online promo last month. Now I only watch live TV maybe once a week.

While Hulu Plus costs the same as a streaming-only Netflix subscription ($7.99/month), it does still have commercials. The breaks usually don’t last more than a minute and a half. I personally don’t mind them, considering the huge collection of content.

Which brings me to one of the main reasons I’m keeping my subscription past the trial period - such a huge selection of programs and a very impressive selection of international TV. Where else in the US can you legally watch Misfits? Or all five seasons of Skins?

If you’re looking for a lot of quality movies, forget Hulu. Seriously, their movie selection is bargain bin at best. But for TV it’s more than worth getting a subscription to Plus.

I didn’t mean to take such a big break, but I’m back with the details of today’s Walgreens trip.

Last week’s freebies:
Sample (.06 oz) of Burberry Body for being a Facebook fan. It’s quite nice because it actually came in a little bottle with a spray pump. It’s nice to get free samples of stuff you’d never actually be able to afford and I like the smell of it too :)
FREE card for Grandparents Day (Sept. 11th) from PaperSnaps.com. I’m going to give this to my grandparents with a gift card for the movie theatre.
Box of samples from Kotex which included: 1 pad and 2 tampons along with a $1 off coupon. The box is really cute :)
Sample of Scotch Adhesive Dot Roller with a coupon for $1 off.
FREE subscription to Women’s Day magazine. I don’t remember when or where I got this from, but I think it’s for a year’s subscription.
Bounce Dryer Bar coupons. There was one for $2.50 off and three for $1.50 off. I don’t have my own dryer so I’ll probably give these away to family and friends.
